Sacyr wins three ACEX awards for safety in conservation

The award-winning projects were the Snow Plough Simulator and the i-Safe device, along with special recognition for Valoriza Conservación de Infraestructuras for the quality of the projects submitted to the competition in recent years.

Valoriza Conservación de Infraestructuras, the Sacyr subsidiary specialising in infrastructure conservation, has won two ACEX (Association of Infrastructure Conservation and Operating Companies) National Safety awards: the i-SAFE project won the Jesús Valdecantos award in the associates category and the Snow Plough Simulator was the winning project in the overall category.

Valoriza Conservación de Infraestructuras also received special recognition for its continuous involvement with innovative projects in past editions of the Acex National Awards as well as its contributions toward occupational and road safety in the conservation and operating of infrastructures.

With these awards, Valoriza Conservación de Infraestructuras strengthens its position as an industry leader in the area of innovation and one of Spain’s top companies in terms of R&D&i contracts; since 2006, the Sacyr subsidiary’s R&D&i Department has undertaken more than 20 lines of research linked to 13 projects approved by various government agencies, with funding to the sum of 7.6 million euros.
