AUTOPAVE's main objective is the automation of the pavement compaction process through the robotization and the interoperability of the compaction train with conventional machinery, for the improvement of efficiency, safety and sustainability in road construction.
Similarly, the specific objectives of this project are aimed at substantially improving the efficiency of the compaction process by ensuring the sequence of work, increasing the safety of workers and improving the sustainability of the process by optimizing it.
