Deja Tu Huella, sustainable mobility is making headway

This project seeks to reduce the CO2 associated with citizens' trips in the city of Madrid.

'Deja tu huella' is an innovative online platform that encourages, in a personalized way, users to travel kilometers by sustainable transportation through a program of challenges and rewards. Users earn points for each kilometer traveled by registering their trips on the platform. Then they can redeem these points for rewards and be eligible to win prizes.

Reducing CO2 emissions

The system uses advanced data analytics to identify the transport hub user’s tastes and preferences to cater to their needs based on different parameters (age, gender, likings, etc.). Similarly, the app gathers information about end-to-end routes in the city to identify and suggest new uncovered routes to the ‘Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid’.

At the height of the climate crisis, projects such as ‘Deja tu huella’ act as tools for education and awareness-raising for citizens about the importance of environmental protection and promoting sustainable mobility in the city.
