Eduardo Campos Shares Sacyr Agua’s Vision for Water Management

Sacyr Agua participated in the 24th Environmental Conference (XXIV Jornadas de Medio Ambiente), a leading forum for discussing environmental challenges and exploring sustainable solutions, while also reaffirming its commitment to the sector through its sponsorship of the event.

As part of the conference, Eduardo Campos, CEO of Sacyr Agua, took part on 19 October in the panel discussion “Madrid and Water: Governing a Scarce Resource”, where he shared the company’s perspective on the challenges of efficient water resource management in a context shaped by increasing pressure on water availability, climate change, and the need to develop ever more resilient infrastructure.

As Leonardo da Vinci famously said, “Water is the driving force of all nature.” Building on this idea, Eduardo Campos provided Sacyr Agua’s technical and business perspective on how the sector’s major challenges can be transformed into opportunities to advance a more efficient, sustainable, and innovative approach to integrated water management.

The discussion highlighted the importance of fostering collaboration among public administrations, utilities, companies, and knowledge institutions to ensure the availability of this essential resource and meet society’s current and future needs.

Sacyr Agua’s participation in this event reflects its commitment to generating and sharing knowledge, as well as to developing solutions that enhance the sustainability and resilience of water infrastructure. Likewise, the company’s sponsorship of the 24th Environmental Conference demonstrates its support for forums that encourage dialogue, strategic thinking, and the exchange of ideas aimed at advancing the sector and promoting responsible water management.

Through its active involvement in industry-leading forums, Sacyr Agua continues to strengthen its position as a company committed to innovation, operational excellence, and the development of solutions capable of addressing one of the defining challenges of our time: ensuring sustainable water management for future generations.
