FP Hurley Support for Grangetown Nursery Garden Restoration
Grangetown Nursery benefited from the renewal and restoration of its school garden, an initiative driven and supported by FP Hurley as part of its commitment to supporting local schools and communities. Undertaken in recent weeks, the work focused on improving the condition and appearance of the garden, creating a more welcoming and functional outdoor environment for pupils and staff. A sterling job was carried out in transforming the space and ensuring it could be fully utilised by the school community.
The restoration has transformed the garden into a more engaging area that can be used for outdoor learning, play and social interaction. By enhancing the space, pupils now have access to a stimulating environment that supports their development, wellbeing and connection with nature, while also complementing classroom activities and enriching the overall learning experience.
To build on these improvements, plans are in place to introduce additional outdoor furniture that will further increase the functionality of the garden and provide dedicated areas for learning, group activities and relaxation. These additions will help maximise the use of the space and ensure that pupils and staff continue to benefit from a high-quality outdoor environment.
