We wanted to let you know that the planned dismantling of one of the tower cranes on the new Velindre Cancer Centre site has been postponed due to heavy wind forecasts.

The operation to dismantle the tower crane four has been cancelled on health and safety grounds.

The two‑day operation has now been rescheduled for the weekend of June 20–21, following the same approved working hours, with the necessary Section 61 consent already in place.

We apologise for any inconvenience the rescheduled works may cause and appreciate residents’ understanding as we ensure the operation is completed safely.
