Sacyr Facilities, the facility management affiliate of Sacyr, has won its first private security contract, marking a strategic milestone in diversifying its facilities business.
In Chile, it has won the security and surveillance service for stretch 2 of the works of the Américo Vespucio Oriente I (AVO I) highway for an amount greater than 1 million euros and a period of 12 months.
The contract includes the installation of several positions for monitoring and controlling access and will be equipped with a team of approximately 70 people.
In Chile, Sacyr Facilities also provides operating and maintenance services at the Hospital de Antofagasta, the cleaning and maintenance of the Metro of Santiago, Chile and the Congreso Nacional of Chile, as well as the cleaning, landscaping and recycling for several shopping malls in Santiago, among others.
These contracts make the facilities affiliate a company of reference in the Chilean market, where it now has a portfolio of over 150 million euros and 1,500 employees.
