Aligned with the SDGs

The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are a set of challenges designed to end poverty, protect the planet, and guarantee peace and prosperity for all nations by 2030. The 17 SDGs and their 169 targets encourage cooperation between people, governments, and companies. We have incorporated the SDGs in the new Sustainability Policy Framework and we aim to abide by them in all company activities.

We fight against poverty, and especially child poverty. We help families at risk of social exclusion through numerous initiatives.
We fight hunger by collaborating with the Food Bank, Acción contra el Hambre, and EDUCO meal grants. We reduce food waste through donations.
We improve the quality of hospitals and education by donating cutting-edge medical equipment and school supplies in the countries where we operate.
We adopt the necessary measures to ensure gender equality at our company, such as the Equality Plan, the Diversity and Inclusion Plan, and the Sacyr Concilia Plan.

Coral Martín and Ángel Prieto

Our colleagues Coral and Ángel represent SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. Coral is part of Sacyr Sports Club, an initiative that seeks to promote healthy lifestyle habits among our employees. Ángel is a member of the Health and Safety team, and he perform tasks related to occupational risk prevention.
