Strengthening our commitment to safety

We have an Occupational Risk Prevention Policy to improve working conditions and the degree of protection, safety, and health of our employees.

In addition to complying with the corresponding legal requirements, we extend to all Group companies an Occupational Health and Safety Management System, certified with the principal international benchmark in occupational health and safety: the ISO 45.001 Standard.

Close involvement and commitment from senior management, employees, suppliers, contractors, and partner companies allow us to create a culture of safety, which is apparent in the downtrend in accident rates in recent years.

We care for people

Through the Sacyr Saludable program, we encourage physical activity, healthy lifestyle habits, proper nutrition, and stress management, which underpins another pillar of our strategy: attracting and retaining talent.

A differentiating preventative culture

We offer health and safety training and qualification courses to our professionals. Training investment in 2019 reached 146,524 euros, with a total of 9,692 employees trained.
