With this certificate, Sacyr demonstrates the importance it places on third-party verification of the good governance practices it has implemented in recent years. The company has submitted its Corporate Governance system to AENOR’s verification and obtained the highest possible score, G++, in compliance with the Good Corporate Governance Index.
This certificate endorses Sacyr's commitment to the implementation of governance best practices, with the aim of guaranteeing proper administration and improving transparency at its management bodies.
The certification is based on seven variables, with 180 KPIs for each of them. All indicators have an individual score, criteria, and certification system by levels.
Compliance has been ratified after careful analysis of the proper functioning of aspects such as the Composition of the Board of Directors, Operation and powers of the Board of Directors, Committees of the Board of Directors, Remuneration, General Shareholders' Meeting, Transparency and other aspects of corporate governance.
