All of these are essential qualities for the project they are developing: the undergrounding and modernization of the Almería railway station. The scale of the project requires the involvement of a large number of professionals. In the following video, you’ll meet a representation of this great team: Tamaris Garcete, Hugo Ramos, Juan Manuel Molina, Francisco Julián Rodríguez, Juan Francisco González, Puri Salazar, and Jose Pablo Martínez.

A City Divided in Two

The goal of the project is to modernize the facility and turn it into an intermodal station adapted to integrate high-speed rail. This ambitious challenge involves the construction of three new infrastructures: a building for rail traffic, another exclusively for bus traffic, and an underground parking garage with capacity for 400 vehicles. To integrate the project into the urban fabric, the railway tracks will be buried for 1.9 km as they approach the station. This marks a significant improvement in mobility and connectivity for the people of Almería, directly impacting more than 200,000 residents.
