The Russian invasion of Ukraine is inflicting $4.5 billion a week worth of damage to structures and buildings of all kinds. The country's heritage is under threat. We analyse how the bombardments, in addition to demolishing hundreds of pieces of infrastructures and destroying 2,500 kilometres of roads, are having an impact on churches, museums, historic buildings, monuments and libraries.

The Omega Center, a wastewater treatment plant in New York, functions in the same way as a living organism: it is self-sufficient in energy and water, uses natural resources for its filtration processes and takes advantage of sunlight and ventilation with bioclimatic techniques. The expansion works of this highway combine environmentally friendly technologies developed by Sacyr: repurposing used tires to manufacture asphalt (RARx), efficient machinery and fabrication plants, and innovative LED lighting
