For this new episode of the series dedicated to Sacyr’s 40th anniversary, we flew to Peru. There, we get an up-close look at the new terminal and the second runway at Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport, a key infrastructure project we’re building between 2020 and 2025 and through which we continue to celebrate our four decades of history.

In the video accompanying this article, our colleagues Miguel Ángel Lozano and David Brihuega walk us through the main challenges of a project that has doubled the airport’s capacity.

Working with a fully operational airport posed an enormous engineering, logistical, and planning challenge that our team handled exceptionally well.
