The major infrastructure that Ukraine has already lost
The Russian invasion of Ukraine is inflicting $4.5 billion a week worth of damage to structures and buildings of all kinds. The country's heritage is under threat. We analyse how the bombardments, in addition to demolishing hundreds of pieces of infrastructures and destroying 2,500 kilometres of roads, are having an impact on churches, museums, historic buildings, monuments and libraries.

We create an innovative launching gantry to build bridges

A soft robot that could avoid the need for operations
A team of Hong Kong researchers has created a viscous magnetic slime capable of moving through narrow channels, transporting harmful substances and self-repairing. We look at why, despite its enormous potential to travel through the human body and avoid the need for invasive operations, it still has limitations and raises some open questions.
