The Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration (AECA) awarded Sacyr the 2019 Aeca Awards for Business Transparency in the category of IBEX-listed Medium and Small Cap companies.
Yesterday, Pedro Alonso, Sacyr’s General Director of Communication, received this award that "seeks to acknowledge Spanish companies’ quality, accessibility, usability, content and presence of the information disseminated through their corporate websites, in the general, financial, sustainability and good corporate governance areas".
“Thanks to these awards, companies demonstrate the high level of excellence they have achieved in terms of corporate transparency," adds Aeca.
The award in the companies listed in Ibex 35 category was for Naturgy and the two honorable mentions in this category were for Telefónica and Repsol. AENA was granted the recognition to the improvement of corporate transparency, and Iberdrola to the company with the best integrated report. The second prize went to the companies listed on the Ibex Medium and Small Cap.
Yesterday, the Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration in Madrid presented the awards in a ceremony attended by a hundred guests of managers, analysts and AECA members, along with the participants in the various calls.
