The Noroeste highway of Murcia, AUNOR, of Sacyr Concesiones has won the Special Award for Innovation of the second edition of the Civil Works Awards of the Region of Murcia.
This award acknowledges the Aunor team who built one of the demonstrator sections on this highway of the Repara 2.0 project with cold-recycled mixtures with alternative binders.
The Repara 2.0 project, led by Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructure, is a benchmark in the techniques involving the cold recycling of bituminous mixtures with bitumen-based alternative binder. http://www.proyectorepara.com/
The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure and the Official School of Civil Engineers of the Region of Murcia awards the II Civil Works Awards of the Region whose objective is the promotion and development of quality in civil works and their cultural and social values, as well as promoting innovation, quality and creativity in this area.
Repara 2.0
Repara 2.0 is an industrial research and experimental development project, carried out thanks to the financial support of the CDTI (Center for technological and industrial development), within the CIEN call, in which seven Spanish companies specialized in different areas are involved in the project.
The aim of the project is the development of new technologies and methodologies that support the management of infrastructure and enable the renovation and conservation of any type of road at a lower economic and environmental cost, improving its adaptation to climate change.
