Have you ever thought about all the work required to maintain a road in perfect condition?
Our colleagues José Luis, Rebeca, José Javier, Sergio and Carlos are part of the action group from Sacyr Concesiones and Sacyr Maintenance working at the Autovía del Arlanzón, on the A-1 highway that connects Madrid and Burgos. Two teams from two different business divisions with one common goal.
Ever since Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructures finished the rehabilitation and adaptation works on the old road in 2007, the Sacyr Concesiones team is in charge of the operation and maintenance of the 146 km of this roadway.
On their end, our co-workers from Sacyr Maintenance do maintenance and conservation work on the road. These are key tasks to ensure fluid traffic and safe circulation on one of the most used roads in Spain, which is also part of the road axis that connects Madrid to the French border.
A highly coordinated and versatile team with a challenge met under their belt: to ensure the comfort and safety of road users.
