Projects are distributed across the Navarra, Leon, Jaen, Burgos and Madrid regions.
The Government of Navarra has awarded the road O&M contract to a Sacyr Maintenance and Excavaciones Eriberri JV for a road stretch between Tudela and Tafalla spanning 1,145 kilometers for three and a half years.
Contract outreach includes O&M work on the A-68 highway and several local and national roads.
Leon
The Ministry for Transport and Sustainable Mobility awarded Sacyr Maintenance the O&M contracts of the 444.2-kilometer LE-01 sector in Leon on the A-6, N-120, N-6, N-536, N-120A and N-6A roads. The contract has a three-year operation term, and possibly, an extra two years of extension.
This stretch includes six tunnels, the longest being the Bierzo II tunnel on the N-6, at 1,100 meters long.
Sacyr Maintenance will carry out the road transit O&M and routine maintenance operations. In addition, it will also maintain the O&M centers in Manzanal del Puerto and Ponferrada, and the Torre del Bierzo and La Barrosa tunnel controls, the winter maintenance facilities and will develop new installations in both O&M centers.
Madrid
In Madrid, the State Association of Road Transport Infrastructure has awarded a Sacyr Maintenance and FCC Construcción JV the maintenance of the R-2, M-12 and M-50 (the stretch between the A-1 and the A-2), comprising 292.95 km for four years, and a possible one-year extension.
This contract includes the maintenance of several structures and the management of a 1.8 km tunnel in the M-12. Sacyr will also maintain the facilities in 11 rest areas, the rest stop in Meco municipal term, and the winter maintenance facilities.
The Ministry for Transport and Sustainable Mobility has awarded the Sacyr Maintenance and ALVAC JV the operation and maintenance of roads and minor improvement works on a 163.7-kilometer section of the M-03 in Madrid.
This contract has a three-year term, with a possible two-year extension, and includes the maintenance of the O&M center in Arganda and the winter maintenance facilities.
Burgos
Sacyr will carry out the conservation, operation, and winter maintenance of the roads on the BU-06 sector, encompassing 211 km of the A-11, A-62, N-1, N-122, N-620 and N-622 to the south of Burgos, and two rest areas on the A-62 in Villadelmiro. In addition, improvements in the O&M subcenter of Aranda de Duero and in the O&M center of Frandovínez. This project is awarded for two years with a possible extension for three more years.
Jaen
The Regional Government of Andalusia selected Sacyr Maintenance for the conservation of the regional road network Lot 5, in the Southeast Jaen area, which totals 477.91 km for 3 years, with the possibility of extension for 2 more.
The main roads are A-315, A-319, A-322, A-324, A-6204, A-6206, A-6207, A-6105. The contract includes the management and road operations services and maintenance and improvement works, mainly.
