Sacyr closes financing of Buin Paine Hospital (Chile) for US$144 million

Sacyr Concesiones has successfully closed the US$ 144 million financing for the Buin – Paine Hospital P3 contract, which will benefit a population of more than 170,000 people in the southern area of the Metropolitan Region in Chile.

The operation was subscribed in its entirety with Banco Estado de Chile, which reinforces the trust put in Sacyr and represents a recognition to the company's experience in Chile and the positive evolution of the Group's business.

This contract involves the construction and operation and maintenance of a new 56,000 m2 space and 200 beds, in addition to the procurement, replacement, and maintenance of medical equipment and furniture.

2021-2025 Strategic Plan

The project consists of six wards, 34 exam rooms, 17 minor procedure rooms, three comprehensive delivery rooms, 16 Emergency Service units, 18 dialysis chairs and seven dental care exam rooms.

This contract award is part of Sacyr's 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, which has a strong focus on P3 projects and its home markets, as is the case of Chile. In addition, this medium-high complexity Hospital is a sustainable project with high social value.
