The Industrial area of Sacyr carried out two projects in La Pampilla, completed respectively in 2016 and 2018. With them, we helped Repsol to achieve its goal of ensuring its fuels meet the new environmental regulations passed in Peru.
The main aim of the entire project was to build desulfurization plants for the production of diesel and gasoline of 50 parts per million (ppm) sulfur content. The middle distillates block will now produce low sulfur diesel fuels. Furthermore, the second block will provide cleaner gasoline for end consumption.
For the main work carried out, we used 17,000 cubic meters of concrete; 2,230 tons of metal structures; 341,962 inches of piping; 300,324 meters of electric cables; 407,863 meters of instrument cables, along with other materials.
