We have improved our rank in this year’s edition of Sustainalytics and situated ourselves in the ‘Negligible’ risk level (the lowest), managing to reduce risk by 2.1 points compared to the rating we obtained in 2021, up to 18.7 points.
This rating assesses the sustainability performance of more than 12,000 companies internationally. The ESG criteria analyzed include environmental, social, and corporate governance aspects of companies.
Sacyr ranks fourth out of the 306 infrastructure companies analyzed globally by this agency. It also ranks first place among companies within the US$1.6 billion to US$1.8 billion market cap range.
On a European level, we rank third place, only behind Arcadis NV (Netherlands) and Instalco AB (Sweden).

This way, we situate in the 95th percentile, meaning its rating in the three assessment aspects (Environmental, Social, and Governance) is highly superior to the average in the ‘Industry’ sector, and in the ‘Heavy Construction’ sub-sector.
