Sacyr has performed a streamlining process on its company structure after divesting from Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales (VSM) and Sacyr Facilities to improve its efficiency and competitiveness embarking upon the new 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, which will be made public in the upcoming months.
The configuration of a Holding company and three distinct independent companies for each business unit (Concessions/P3, Engineering and Infrastructure and Water) is simplified into a single company structure presenting the same three activities.
After these structure modifications, in conjunction with the company’s customary rotation policy for C-suite roles, executive functions for the business units are:
- Pedro Sigüenza Hernández becomes CEO of the P3/Concessions unit. Up to this point he was the CEO of the Engineering and Infrastructure unit;
- Rafael Gómez del Río Sanz-Hernanz becomes CEO of the Engineering and Infrastructure unit. Up to this point he was the CEO of the P3/Concessions unit;
- Eduardo Campos Pozuelo becomes CEO of the Water and Energy unit. He formerly supervised the Services activities.
The configuration of the rest of the Management team will remain the same.
These changes come after the successful completion of the 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, three years ahead of schedule. The company has fulfilled the goals set in its Plan have transformed Sacyr into a P3 company capable of delivering sustained value creation.
