Saopse Peru, a Sacyr subsidiary company for road conservation has developed five projects in total since 2018. Of the 2,200 km of road conserved, 1,325 km are from contracts subscribed with Provías Nacional and 875 km belong to Concesionaria Vial Sierra Norte. These figures situate Saopse as an industry leader in Peru.
Saopse currently has two active contracts: Rutas de Ayacucho and Gesvías – Longitudinal de la Sierra Tramo II. Together, they total more than 1,300 km. In 2021, Saopse finished its works on the VCI-Sullana and Rutas del Cusco I projects, and in 2022 we have finished the Rutas del Cusco II contract.
Rutas de Ayacucho is one of Saopse's most noteworthy projects and it includes 436 km of the road corridor that connects the departments of Ayacucho, Huancavelica, and Junín, in the North of Peru. Saopse also performs periodical and routine conservation tasks and roadside assistance services.
Saopse oversees the goaled operation and maintenance on the Longitudinal de la Sierra Tramo II highway. This 875 km road is located between the regions of Cajamarca and La Libertad. Routine conservation, management, and toll collection are the main activities of this project.
