In Chile, thanks to the LodoVerde project, we are conducting a study that will enhance the value of the sludge generated at wastewater treatment plants, thus promoting environmental sustainability and the circular economy. 

Hydroseeding, relocation of excess land, environmentally friendly concrete, waste recovery, and care for biodiversity are key factors that make the Elorrio-Elorrio railway route (Basque Country) one of our most innovative projects in the environmental field.

In Catalonia, we have two pioneering projects in the implementation of circular economy measures: an office building at Plaza Europa 34 in Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) and a development of 95 multi-family homes in Viladecans (Barcelona).

Our Quality, Environment and Energy Department, in collaboration with business and ecology consultancy firm Natural Business Intelligence (NBI), we have developed a platform that allows us to understand the impact caused by our projects on the different ecosystems where they are carried out, through a geopositioned file. 

At Sacyr, we promote circularity and we seek solutions to minimize resource consumption and use alternative, recycled materials instead of sand, among other materials.
