Reducing the impact of the transport sector on air quality, natural habitats and climate is one of the challenges of this century. Although LNG is presented as an alternative for more sustainable transportation, it comes with a major drawback: it generates greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to global warming.

Joaquina Álvarez is a researcher specializing in plate tectonics and mountain range formation. She has garnered recognition in Spain’s largest public institution dedicated to research, the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), even in a predominantly male sector, and she is an inspiration to hundreds of girls who one day will learn how mountains are formed. 

An innate sense of geometry and volume helped Gaudí to become a genius of three-dimensional creation. The architect, a symbol of Catalan modernism, was inspired by nature to build such emblematic works as Park Güell and the crypt of the Sagrada Familia.

We are developing the geothermal plant at the highest altitude in the world (4,970 m) which will supply energy to more than 2,500 people.
