Sacyr Foundation and Rementería Foundation sign collaboration agreement to provide eye care for people at risk

  • Sacyr Foundation will financially support the purchase of materials and medicine that will benefit between 700 and 1,500 people.

Manuel Manrique, Chairman of the Sacyr Foundation, and Mª Luz Capelo, Chairwoman of the Rementería Foundation, have formalized this partnership to fund the purchase of ophthalmological materials and medicine for people at risk of social exclusion.

This agreement will directly impact 700 to 1,500 people, and around 3,000, indirectly.

Both foundations are committed to providing opportunities for individuals at risk of social exclusion. The Rementería Foundation, based in the Community of Madrid, supports multiple healthcare centers, and delivers essential eye care services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for patients.

The collaboration underscores a shared awareness, purpose, and commitment to sustainable values. This approach aims to maximize positive outcomes from a human, environmental, social and corporate governance standpoint, while minimizing the ecological footprint, promoting both social and labor improvements.
