Sacyr Facilities and Sacyr Social receive AENOR certification for their Covid-19 prevention protocols

  • The seal certifies that the various security measures implemented by companies since the onset of the health crisis meet the requirements and recommendations of the Health Ministry.  
  • AENOR endorses the effectiveness of the COVID-19 prevention measures implemented by Sacyr Facilities at its headquarters.
  • Since the beginning of the health crisis, Sacyr has allocated roughly three million euros to the implementation of different initiatives to ensure the availability of safe workspaces and environments for clients and employees.
     

AENOR has recognized Sacyr Facilities and Sacyr Social for their COVID-19 prevention protocols. This external endorsement certifies that the various security measures adopted by the company since the onset of the health crisis not only comply with recommendations, but satisfy the Ministry of Health’s prevention and hygiene requirements.

To obtain this certification, AENOR evaluates a wide range of aspects, such as risk management and occupational health, training, information, communication, the organizational and protective measures implemented (minimum distance, monitoring capacity, individual use of equipment and material, etc.), and best practices in cleanliness and hygiene, among others.  

Since the health crisis began, Sacyr has allocated three million euros to the implementation of different initiatives in order to continue providing safe work spaces and environments to clients and employees, ensuring minimum contact between individuals and maximum cleanliness, hygiene, and individual protection at all times.

Health and safety

Sacyr ensures the health and safety of its employees and collaborators at all times. In recent months, the company has implemented countless measures throughout its work centers in Spain to stem the risk of contagion. 

These measures include, but are not limited to a reduction in office capacity, the installation of protective screens in common dining areas, the use of signage and special posters to raise awareness about the importance of social distancing. The company has also delivered masks, distributed hand sanitizer, increased the frequency of disinfection at all work centers, and regularly tests employees. 

AENOR is the leading certification body in Spain, and one of the top 10 worldwide. 

At present, more than 82,000 work centers in the world have some sort of AENOR certification, improving their competitiveness in fields like Quality Assurance, Environmental Management, Animal Welfare, Non-Financial Information Verification, Compliance, R+D+i, Occupational Health and Safety, and Energy Efficiency. The entity has also conducted more than 118,000 analyses of the agri-food sector and more than 8,000 inspections.
