SIS consortium (Fininc and Sacyr) has won the P3 project award for the Parco della Salute, della Ricerca e dell’Innovazione di Torino (Turin’s Health, Research and Innovation Complex), a multifunctional complex that will include a new hospital and university campus. The contract will be formalized and signed in the coming months. The planned investment exceeds €517 million and the construction period is five years.
This contract, awarded by Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino, a Piedmont Region government institution, includes the design, construction, financing, concession and maintenance of the hospital for 25 years. The scope of this P3 contract covers the maintenance of the structural and architectural elements, the mechanical and electrical installations and the management of the commercial areas.
A benchmark facility
This project will become a medical and scientific reference center in Italy and its strategic location in the south of Turin will serve around 300,000 people.
The new complex will have four interconnected blocks, that will house the current health facilities making up the City of Health: La Molinette, the CTO and the Sant'Anna Hospital. It will host clinical, preclinical and translational research; in addition to offering a space for teaching activities (degree courses in medicine and other health professions).

- 1,040 beds
- 19 operating rooms
- 175,000 sqm of hospital surface + 64,000 sqm of underground parking
- 5,000 sqm of training areas
- 1,525 sqm of commercial areas
